Visiting Angels Manassas has announced a new step in its continued commitment to high-quality dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Senior leadership now includes Certified Dementia Practitioner® (CDP®) expertise, following Khalid Umerani’s completion of the CDP credential.
The Certified Dementia Practitioner® credential reflects specialized education in dementia care, including person-centered approaches, communication strategies, and practical support methods for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
For families caring for a loved one with dementia, this added leadership training matters. Dementia care is not only about helping with daily tasks.
